We are passionate about slow smoking meat and side dishes on our reverse flow offset smokers with Mesquite wood, which gives our meats a mildly sweet, smoky flavor. We also believe barbeque shouldn’t be complicated—we use simple seasonings, wood, and time to flavor our food for a truly delicious experience.
the folks behind pure smoke
Like a lot of BBQ enthusiasts, I started with a small electric smoker that used wood chunks. As my experience and passion grew I thought bigger – to whole hog. In 2011, we purchased our first commercial smoker. The first thing cooked on it was a 150 pound whole hog for my Father-in-law’s 80th birthday party. After a 22 hour cook on that hog there was no going back. Pure Smoke NW BBQ has been cooking and feeding friends and family ever since!
Every great food trailer needs a commissary kitchen. As a contractor by trade, it seemed logical to build one where we can partner with community members, caterers, food trucks/trailers, and others. This vision led us to seek the perfect space and begin construction.
Once the Pure Smoke NW BBQ trailer is rolling and PSNW Commissary Kitchen is open, we look forward to expanding our menu to feature whole hog and even some smoked desserts. We are excited about serving Stanwood and the surrounding areas with our full catering and box meal options.
